Guys, I have been looking forward to this wedding for EVER! When Sammie first inquired about hiring me to shoot her wedding, I was thrilled to find out that they’d be tying the knot at the BEAUTIFUL Belmont Manor House! This was a venue I was dying to shoot at so I was pretty pumped. Additionally, in our initial phone conversation, I learned that it was an intimate, southern themed wedding with blush pink accents. Um, can you say gorgeous?!
Sammie & Drew are Marylanders at heart, but life has taken them to Charleston, South Carolina. I had been dying to visit Charleston, so I met Sammie & Drew down there last fall for their engagement session! You can check out their beautiful downtown sunset engagement here. It was so much fun and they were kind enough to take us (my boyfriend Mark tagged along too!) out on the town for dinner and drinks and it was a trip I’ll never forget!
Sammie & Drew’s wedding day had a beautiful, intimate ceremony under 4 lush magnolia trees, followed by a fun-filled reception with some of the BEST southern fried chicken and mashed potatoes I’ve ever had! And not to mention, we had a gorgeous sunset and we captured the most beautiful bridal portraits that you’ll see below!
I absolutely LOVED Sammie’s sweet pink floral details! This Voeu Du Coeur velvet ring box went perfectly with her invitations!
Aren’t they one of the prettiest set of bridesmaids you’ve ever seen?? I’m in love with those blush pink Lulu’s dresses, and those fluffy florals!
Ugh, these sunset photos are my absolute favorite! Jumping out of your reception for 5 minutes to catch that glow is always worth it, y’all!
