Scott & Lizzie’s first date was held along the shores of Weems Creek in Annapolis, MD where Lizzie taught Scott how to stand up paddle board! Well, at least she attempted to…Scott forgot to bring a paddle with him! Oops!
It was only fitting for Scott to propose to Lizzie in the same place where their sweet first date began. As they spent the morning paddling, Lizzie had no idea that today would be different than any other paddle date…until Scott returned from “getting the car” without the car…and instead was holding a white, custom-made paddle with the words, “Will you marry me?” on the handle!
Lizzie was so surprised and caught completely off guard when she read what was on it! I’m so glad I was able to sneak around the waterfront and capture her priceless reaction and this amazing time for this newly engaged couple! 🙂

…but came back with a paddle and a ring!
