Heather & Derek’s wedding plans, like so many others this year, did not quite go as originally planned! But, they kept their heads up and decided to have a safe, intimate ceremony at Derek’s family home. With the help of their family and friends, they turned the already gorgeous, woodsy property into a celestial boho wedding straight out of pinterest with Heather’s incredible vision and attention to detail.
The ceremony was beautiful and sweet. Heather and Derek potted a unity plant in honor of their new marriage. They then danced under a beautiful tent, covered in falling leaves and surrounded by tables decorated with bold, colorful candles, mismatched candleholders, vintage china, and greenery. There were various woven baskets holding lots of plants tucked in every corner. Stars and moons could be found throughout the decor, giving this day the perfect celestial boho wedding balance.
Heather & Derek love Halloween, so it was only fitting that they not only get married on Halloween, but incorporate it into their decor! Fun signage and little skeletons were strategically placed around the area. They even had a Halloween themed photobooth, complete with props, buckets of candy, and more.
Heather & Derek, I wish you both a lifetime of love, happiness, and Halloweens!!!

Heather wore her mother’s veil and her grandmother’s ring.

Heather & Derek’s first look was so sweet – they were both so nervous but couldn’t stop smiling and laughing once they saw each other!

She then shared an emotional first look with her parents.

They had the coolest Halloween themed wedding signs, designed by bridesmaid (and former CCP bride) Meg!

Heather looked like a celestial goddess! Her star and moon hairpieces combined with the veil and cape made her look ethereal.

I love a woodsy wedding in the fall! Such gorgeous colors!
