Brooke and Andrew’s wedding day at Herrington on the Bay was simply stunning. This was the third time I had shot a wedding at this venue in May of 2019! Crazy, right?! I never get tired of shooting there, because it’s so beautiful and you just can’t beat those waterfront ceremony views. It has a resort feel that instantly transports you to the tropics. My nautical loving heart just can’t get enough!
The weather on Brooke & Andrew’s wedding day was all over the dang place! It started out cloudy, quickly switched to rainy, (and by rainy, I mean downpouring & thundering) and then ended up being a beautifully sunny evening. Luckily, the weather cleared just in time for us to photograph lots of portraits before the ceremony. Then, as the ceremony ended, the skies opened up again, and some sweet resort guests made room for us under a tent. We captured the family photos there and it all worked out so perfectly.
The bridesmaids wore pretty blush gowns which were a nice soft compliment to the groomsmen’s bright blue tuxes. They used pretty blush florals and soft greenery in their bouquets, centerpieces, and ceremony decor. Dark wood elements with white calligraphy gave the reception venue a bit of a rustic flair.
At the reception, the dance floor was crazy packed all night and the DJ kept things LIT. Brooke & Andrew, I’m so excited for the two of you to start this next adventure together, and I hope you enjoy these images of your beautiful Herrington on the Bay Wedding!

Brooke’s details were so stunning!

Brooke wore her aunt’s earrings in her bouquet. There’s a cool shot of this further down!

It’s not a wedding morning without mimosas!

Brooke’s sister and mom helped her get ready.

Bridesmaid reactions are my favorite!

Andrew lookin’ so fly!

First look time! You can’t tell, but it was rainy like crazy! We had to pat down Andrew’s tux!

The sun came out right in time for bridal party portraits.

When you see a puppy on your wedding day (or any day!) you HAVE to pet it!

One of Brooke’s aunt’s earrings made the cutest little adornment on her bouquet, and a sweet sentiment.

Love the acrylic welcome sign!

More acrylic signage and dark wood details – love!

Brooke and Andrew shared a seriously epic first dance!

Quick night shot break!

And here’s that dance floor action I was talking about!
