When my sweet friend Alyssa reached out to me about photographing her and her family for maternity portraits, I was over the moon! I photographed Alyssa and her husband Pete as they were expecting their first child Gianna, and it was such a pleasure!
This time around, we headed to Hampton Mansion in Towson. It was an absolutely beautiful sunny July day, and unseasonably cool – which we were all grateful for!
Our session started off a little rocky – sweet little almost-two-year-old Gianna was not loving having a stranger take her photo! And, we were approaching bed time 😛 But, eventually she warmed up to me and we got a lot of cute shots. Most of which were candid – but those are sometimes the most precious ones!
Gia is definitely a mama’s girl right now – but I bet she’ll be loving her daddy-daughter time once her little brother arrives! Oh, and she’s one of the best dressed toddlers around. Just check out her outfits!
