Lauren + Jeff – After a long long wait, your day finally arrived! L+J were my last covid reschedule and I’m so thrilled that they finally got the big grand Annapolis wedding of their dreams. They were married in an intimate ceremony on their original date in 2021, but renewed their vows at the Graduate Annapolis Hotel in the heart of Maryland’s capitol. The best part? Their new wedding date fell on Derby Day – so Lauren (a University of Kentucky alum!) incorporated the derby into their wedding theme! I loved her Kentucky Derby earrings, and guests wore fascinators to help celebrate!

Lauren & Jeff chose not to see each other before the ceremony, but Lauren did get to share a special moment with her dad!
Lauren + Jeff said their vows in the breathtaking atrium of the Graduate Annapolis. Classic nautical decor and walls filled with vintage photos and paintings of ships and sailboats surrounded them.
After the ceremony, a trolley came to pick up the wedding party and take us to some iconic Annapolitan locations for photos! But, it was pouring with no end to the rain in sight. We made the best of the weather, grabbed some clear umbrellas and proceeded to get completely soaked! But, it was fun!
The front porch of the Maryland State House is not only beautiful, but it provided some much needed shelter from the rain. We were happy to be out of the downpour and got some super fun images at the same time!
The once bronze State House doors were perfectly patinated to match the shade of teal Lauren chose for the bridesmaid dresses! So, obviously we had to grab a few portraits there.
Our last stop was for another Annapolis favorite – oyster shooters at McGarveys!
The reception hall of Graduate Annapolis was beautifully decorated. White drapery lined the walls which complimented the nautical themed carpets. Tables were covered with ivory textured linens, subtle centerpieces and personalized tumblers for guests.
The rest of the evening was spent sharing amazing speeches, a packed dance floor and more champagne!!!
