Chelsey and Tony were such troopers on their rainy Kent Island Resort wedding day. They were faced with an unfortunate weather forecast all day. They had envisioned their ceremony and photos to take place outdoors, but they kept their spirits up and we rolled with what Mother Nature had planned! Chelsey looked absolutely stunning in her off the shoulder A-line gown, and Tony looked so handsome in his classic light grey tux and floral bow tie!

These two were an absolute joy to work with and I adore their style and their amazing sense of humor!

Chelsey did a first look outside of the bridal suite with both her bridesmaids and her dad. My heart melted at both beautiful, emotional moments!

Chelsey and Tony decided to have their ceremony under the tented pavilion. It was a great backup plan so they could be outdoors but still protected from the rain. It was a lovely ceremony and they were so excited to finally be married!

Although the forecast called for rainy conditions all day long, it stopped just long enough for us to capture portraits during cocktail hour! I’m so happy these two were able to have the outdoor portraits that were so important to them!

We decided to shoot right outside of the Kent Manor Inn building so that we could retreat under the porch if needed. But, we lucked out and the rain held off – until we got back over to the Farmstead, where the reception was being held! We whipped out a couple of umbrellas, snapped a few dreamy portraits, and sent the happy couple off to enjoy cocktail hour!

The Farmstead was such a dreamy, beautiful setting for their reception. Chelsey and Tony wanted an upscale rustic feel. They paired soft blush, peach, and blue tones with wooden signs, lots of bud vases full of pastel florals, floating candles and gold details.

The rest of the night was full of incredible speeches, emotional dances and a seriously packed dance floor!
