As a wedding photographer, I have gotten the privilege to travel all over this beautiful state and visit so many wonderful places from the Eastern Shore to Western MD! I’ve been to farms, properties, and private residences that I never even knew existed. Being in this industry has opened my eyes to so many gorgeous places, and there are a few that I am just DYING to photograph!
So, I thought I’d make a list of venues that are all on my wedding photography bucket list! AND, because I love y’all so much, I’m offering $200 off any wedding photography package for 2018/2019 brides who are getting married at one of these venues!!! See below for more info!
Without further ado, here are some venues I’ve got my eye on, in no particular order!
Chesapeake Bay Beach Club
Kent Island, MD
Although I’ve been to CBBC a couple times, I have yet to shoot a wedding there! (Surprising, I know, given my brand!) It is literally one of the most beautiful waterfront venues and my nautical-loving heart is dying to photograph a couple on those beaches!
1840’s plaza
Baltimore City, MD
The 1840’s Plaza is just one of those classic Baltimore venues that is so full of charm! That courtyard is amazing and the windows & chandeliers in this building are absolutely stunning!
Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards
North Garden, VA
Pippin Hill is just one of those wedding venues that every photographer dreams of shooting! I can just imagine a gorgeous bride with her dashing groom with a lush bouquet of peonies in front of those iconic barn doors!
Belmont Manor
Elkridge, MD
So this venue is a little different in that I’ve actually assisted on a wedding here! I took a few images to lend Lauren Myers Photography a hand, but I’d LOVE to shoot a full wedding! This venue is absolutely stunning and has one of the most beautiful bridal suites. There are tons of places to get striking images all over the property.
Tidewater Inn
Easton, MD
I absolutely love the town of Easton and its sweet eastern shore charm! Tidewater Inn has that charm all wrapped up in their venue. Located right in the heart of downtown, you can choose to have a courtyard ceremony or a ballroom reception!
US Naval Academy Chapel
Annapolis, MD
While the Naval Academy Chapel is reserved for Naval Academy alumni/staff or active duty military personnel assigned to the naval academy base, it has been a dream of mine to photograph here for a long time! I love exploring the Naval Academy grounds – their architecture is stunning! There are so many beautiful places to take photos, and the chapel itself is breathtaking.
Annapolis Maritime Museum
Annapolis, MD
Annapolis Maritime Museum is another venue I’ve actually shot at before! I second shot a wedding here with my friend Liz last year. However, I loved it SO much that I’m dying to shoot another one here! The indoor area is so cozy and sweet, and you get the most perfect sunsets over Annapolis in the evenings!
Inn at Perry Cabin by Belmond
St. Michaels, MD
Crabcakes and football, baby. That’s what Maryland DOES!! Can you name that movie quote? If you said Wedding Crashers, you’re probably from Maryland! 🙂 They filmed part of that fantastic movie at the Inn at Perry Cabin, and no, the movie isn’t entirely why I want to shoot there! I mean, the views of this place speak for themselves!!!
Silver Swan Bayside
Stevensville, MD
Silver Swan is another venue I’ve actually shot at before! I was lucky enough to photograph a styled shoot here a few years ago, and was in awe of the views! Not only do they have a gorgeous waterfront location, but their indoor space is dreamy as well!
Tabrizi’s
Baltimore, MD
Weddings at Tabrizi’s happen right smack on the bay! The inner harbor views here are absolutely incredible. Not to mention how easily you can hop around the harborfront for photos! And I’ve heard the food is out of this world!
Historic Londontown & Gardens
Annapolis, MD
Waterfront + gorgeous landscape + historic buildings?! Enough said! Bonus points if you get married here in the spring – the blossoming trees are amazing!
Anchor Inn
Pasadena, MD
Another beautiful waterfront venue with killer sunsets and that nautical vibe that I love so so much!
Lighthouse Sound
Ocean City, MD
I’ve always wanted to photograph a wedding in Ocean City, and Lighthouse Sound is the perfect place to do it! There are a bunch of seriously beautiful spots to take bridal portraits in, I could probably shoot there for HOURS! 🙂
Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum
St. Michaels, MD
I’ve actually photographed part of an engagement session at CBMM, and I fell in love! It would be so amazing to head back and photograph someone’s big day on their gorgeous grounds.
Lauxmont Farms
Wrightsville, PA
I just recently discovered this venue, and oh my gosh is it stunning. Beautiful rolling hills that lead right to the riverfront, big stone farm buildings, and a gorgeous indoor reception space!
Chesapeake Bay Foundation
Annapolis, MD
With beautiful waterfront views at a venue that is dedicated to saving our Bay – this one’s a no-brainer!
Accelerator Space
Baltimore, MD
One look at this cool new venue and you’ll totally see why I’m dying to shoot here! This space is so perfectly Baltimore, with a mix of urban flair and modern class!
M&T Bank Stadium
Baltimore, MD
I’m a big Ravens fan, and anyone who loves the Raven enough to get married in our stadium is a friend of mine!
And last but not least…
Literally any wedding on a BOAT!
If you are planning on tying the knot on a boat or yacht, I will be your best friend! Haha but seriously, I second shot a wedding on a beautiful cruise on the Severn River a while back and it was so gorgeous. I’d love to have the opporturnity to create images like that again!
If you are a 2018/2019 bride tying the knot at one of these venues, please email me! I’d love to offer you $200 off any wedding package. My pricing begins at $2300. This offer is only valid for a limited time, so act soon!
